Porter Grey - Mercedes Benz New York Fashion WeekMy first shoot during Mercedes Benz New York Fashion Week was Porter Grey. It was about 9:30ish in the morning in a room called the box. So standing in the photographers line I thought what will this runway be like. Doors open and it's really a box. Loved the setup and the wild mix of viewers/reviewers/photographers. What you will see above is a second round of images. The setup was standing then they left to reentered at the top and hustled out. It was a smart use of space and time for showing the garments. It was a very personal approach as you really could walk up and spend the amount of time desired viewing. The background was white to sell the product and each subject stood like a mannequin
You will view tight head shots of the subjects to show the makeup and accessories, the room setup with the guests and photographers and then Porter Grey.... WHAT Porter Grey are two people and not one well how cool is this. Thank you Style Media for a great assignment out of the gate for NYFW... it was a lot of fun!
