Gretchen Rossi - Ok Magazine Promo

Gretchen Rossi - Ok Magazine Promo
This image was shot in one of my favorite places secured with JPO Concepts of New York. The subject is Gretchen Rossie of Bravos Real Housewives of Orange County upside down hanging over Prince Street in Soho. Many thanks to Helah for understanding my creative desire to shoot on the fire escape. When I asked she smiled and embraced my request.......
Thank you Helah!

Discovery - Gretchen Rossie

Discovery - Gretchen Rossie
Closing out 2012 and discovered a video link posting on 'Gretchen Christine' Rossies blog. Erin agrees with Gretchen it was a cloudy day. "Gretchen was cool we held her in a stairwell waiting for the clouds to move and she kept warm with a hairdryer for a skyline backdrop. Then she conquered a cold metal fire escape and greeted fans on Prince Street in Soho. She was a really nice person everyone had a great day."

location: JPO Concepts - Prince Street Penthouse, Soho New York.

Gretchen Rossi - Real House Wives of Orange County

Gretchen Rossi - Real House Wives of Orange County
The Gretchen Rossie shoot took place in New York and is published in Linger Magazine. I regrouped with JPO Concepts of New York for the location. The actual location is in Soho and named Prince Street Penthouse, with a name like that it’s a must have. We incorporated the rooftop patio area and utilized the skyline view. I promised myself every time I could shoot on a fire escape as a nod to Karl Lagerfeld  I would so we tagged it (minus the scissor lift). The building entry has a beautiful set of doors and with the stunning Nika gown as suggested by the mua Jami Svay this scene was perfectly sexy. Then we hit the street to “grab a cab”. Shooting the cab was a blast. I have never laughed so hard ‘with’ a subject, it was fun.

This shoot team was a group of artists coming together to create a final look. With that said it really was a shoot with artists, Gretchen is one too. Not only was she nice but has a fun artistic vibe. Many thanks to everyone for a great day and to the shot team for sharing your beautiful work. I promised myself to keep blogs short 'so' below you will notice a few b&w images plus a shoot video to be released. Thank you for viewing and again many thanks to everyone.

* Extra exciting news - Gretchen posed for one of my photo series (not shown) and you know I could not resist shooting a few in black and white. The roof top lighting/skyline, the stunning Nika Gown with all the glamour of Hollywood in New York it felt natural... additional b&w are shown in the shoot video..

Again thank you to everyone.

JPO Concepts - New York, Manhattan location

Ahhh Yes.. Getting Married in New York City may I suggest JPO Concepts based in Manhattan. Wow what fabulous location(s) and the preferred vendors are if I must say .......outstanding. I'm very honored to be one of two photographers selected on the basis of merit. Actually I'm shocked really think about it. My bride is jumping on a bed in a photographers studio.. I totally took the risk of not being invited back for the shot. Ahh sometimes it pays because Helah Kehati the events manager embraces this type of fun. So if your interested in a New York Manhattan Style wedding or event contact Helah.
.
I certainly have to thank the now Mrs. Owen. Tara was so much fun, adventuress and a beauty... yes a true photographers dream. I added the three side images from that day simply because I love them. Taras cousin has such a sweet smile it's almost painful.
.
Thanks to Tara and her sweet smiling cousin!!!
